Successful Weekend of Coaching Courses

The Gibraltar Football Association’s partnership with the Welsh Football Trust continues to prove to be a positive step in the right direction for all those involved in local football. Over 120 candidates took part and successfully passed in their efforts in attaining qualifications in Level 1 Coaching, Safeguarding, First Aid and Futsal.

The Gibraltar Football Association’s Technical Director, Desi Curry, along with members of the GFA Technical Team, presided throughout the course of the four-day period.

We would like to express our gratitude to the Welsh Football Trust for their time and effort in helping all of our candidates obtain their new qualification(s). The series of courses all form part of the GFA’s strategy to upskill and revalidate our Club coaches. In addition, this enables us to meet UEFA Club Licensing requirements and make Gibraltarian football a safe, fun and inclusive environment to play in”

Huge congratulations and thanks goes out to all who took part, not forgetting the dedicated team of coaches from the Welsh Football Trust and the GFA. We look forward to the next round of courses at the end of the season!
