Thew UEFA Nations League has well and truly arrived. Gibraltar are on League D, Group 4 of this brand new competition for international teams. In FYR Macedonia Gibraltar kick off the competition against the top seeds in our group. A fact not lost upon Gibraltar Head Coach, Julio Ribas. Speaking at today's pre match press conference the Gibraltar Coach was extremely upbeat and raring to go:

FYR Macedonia are a very strong team with a very good blend of experienced players such as Goran Pandev and youngsters who have blended into the team very well. We have watched them and we know they are the top team in this group so its a tough start for us. But we will be ready. Each one of my players will go out onto the pitch and give everything he has got tomorrow. also because it is not a friendly. Its one of the most important competitions, the Nations League.

It is the moment we have been waiting for ever since that day Gibraltar joined UEFA.... It will be a historic day and we want to make history as a family together with all Gibraltarians. "
