All schools taking part in the Gibraltar FA's Schools development programme, were given 20 footballs each as a gift from the GFA to help develop football in schools throughout Gibraltar.

Our relationship with the schools is an essential part of the GFA's Grassroots Plan. We will continue working with Gibraltar's Schools during school hours to promote and ensure the further the development of Football on the Rock"

Technical Director Desi Curry added:

I am delighted to endorse this initiative and further demonstrates the GFA’s commitment to accessing children of all ages and gender, and to afford them the opportunity to play the ‘beautiful game’. I would also like to thank our coaching staff, the schools and the Education Department for their wholehearted support in this new venture’’
