UEFA Solidarity Scheme: Payments to Gibraltar Clubs

In the last week, the Gibraltar FA has distributed a total of €391,892.00 amongst 10 of its Member Clubs as part of UEFA’s Solidarity Scheme relating to Youth Development for the 2015/16 season.

In order to be eligible for share of the monies available as part of this scheme, Club Members must have an approved Youth Development Programme in accordance with the GFA’s Club Licensing and FFP Regulations.

This is the third cycle of this annual scheme and the clubs to benefit are:

 

Lincoln Red Imps FC - €47,986.50

Europa FC - €47,986.50

Lions Gibraltar FC - €47,986.50

Manchester 62 FC - €47,986.50

Lynx FC - €47,986.50

Gibraltar United FC - €47,986.50

Glacis United FC - €47,986.50

St Joseph’s FC - €47,986.50

 

These 8 clubs also agreed to distribute a share of the monies to two 2015/16 Second Division clubs who run youth teams during the season. The recipients were:

 

Mons Calpe SC - €4,000

College 1975 FC - €4,000  

 

A presentation of cheques was held at the Gibraltar FA HQ to the 10 clubs. (missing from the below are Glacis Utd FC who were absent):
