Gibraltar FA's Latest Graduate from UEFA's Certificate In Football Management

Gibraltar FA's Communications Manager, Steven Gonzalez, has become the third Gibraltarian, and Gibraltar FA member of staff to successfully complete UEFA's Certificate in Football Management, in their latest edition of the course run in conjunction with the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) and held at their new headquarters, Cidade de Futebol in Lisbon.

The UEFA Certificate in Football Management is run by leading academic and professional experts, chosen by the hosting country or UEFA itself, each module focuses on an important aspect of the management of football associations. The course builds on six online modules and three face-to-face seminars, where the online modules cover the topics of:

• The organisation of football

• Strategic and performance management

• Operational management

• Football marketing and sponsorship

• Communication, the media and public relations

• Event and volunteer management

The course is issued, in European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) credits, through the Swiss Graduate School of Public Administration (IDHEAP) at the University of Lausanne.
