Gibraltar United 0-5 Mons Calpe

                            Sastrie 24, 44

                            Blanco Rodriguez 58,65

                            Cascio 62

Mons Calpe comfortably saw off Gibraltar United in the first of this season's Gibtelecom Rock Cup Semi Finals.

An eagerly anticipated Semi Final was to potentially give one of these two teams the opportunity to continue in their dreams of qualifying for European football for what would be the first time ever for either one. and it was Mons Calpe that seized the moment.

Two goals in the first half from Sastrie saw them head into the half time interval 2-0 up. Interestingly Gibraltar United had made a double substitution in the 38th minute, despite only being 1-0 down.

A second half brace from Blanco Rodriguez either side of a 64th  minute goal from Cascio saw the game finish 5-0 to Mons Calpe.

They march into next month's final looking extremely determined to secure that lucrative Europa League spot in what is potentially the biggest game in their history.
