Gibraltar Number 10 signs for historic English Club Notts County

Gibraltar number 10, Liam Walker, has sealed his return to the English Football League by signing for the historic League 2 club Notts County FC.

Famous for being the 'oldest team in the world' the Meadow Lane side announced the signing of the midfielder who has 24 Gibraltar caps to his name so far.

In announcing the signing on their website they stated:

The midfielder has been on trial with the club, playing in pre-season friendlies against Nottingham Forest and Wigan Athletic, and has impressed enough to be offered a contract at Meadow Lane.

This will be Liam Walker's second spell in English Football after previously playing for Portsmouth, another historic club, in 2012-2013.
