FUNdamentals & Development School Kick off in September

Our football development programmes for the new season are now available to sign up to for children up to and including those starting Year 3 in September.

The programmes are broken down into age groups as follows:

FUNdamentals:

The fundamentals programme will be split into 5 blocks of 6 weeks with block 1 running from Sunday 17th September to Sunday 22nd October (inclusive).

Nursery

  • For children who are not yet at a nursery and/or who do not follow instructions that well.
  • Free-play with activities set up for them to play.
  • Parent/Guardian must be present
  • Sundays from 9:00-10:00am
  • Pitch 2D (old red area or indoors in Victoria Sports Hall)
  • Fee: £15 per block

Pre-School

  • For children at a nursery or Pre-School who can follow instructions
  • Organised activities and games for them to have fun in a football environment.
  • Parent/Guardians should be present
  • Sundays from 10:00-10:45am
  • Pitch 2D (old red area or indoors in Victoria Sports Hall)
  • Fee: £15 per block

Reception

  • For children in Reception school year
  • Organised drills and match play focusing on 4 key skills: passing, ball control, dribbling and shooting
  • Sundays from 9:00-10:00am and Tuesdays from 5:00-6:00pm
  • Pitch 2
  • Fee: £20 per block

 

Development School

The Development School is for children in School Years 1,2 and 3 will be split into two terms with a fee of £50 per term. The fee includes a pack of Adidas Kit (1 pack of free kit per child for the whole season) worth £45.00 which will need to be ordered upon successful registration of your child. Additional Adidas kit or replacements can be ordered at any time but will incur a cost.

Term 1: September to December 2023 – Years 1, 2 and 3

  • Sessions every Tuesday and Thursday, from 5:00-6:00pm, Victoria Stadium, Pitch 1
  • 4 Inter School Festivals (dates TBC) coaching sessions and Friendly Sundays in between Festival days
  • Fee: £50 for the term

Term 2: January to May 2024:

Years 1 and 2:

  • Sessions every Tuesday and Thursday, from 5:00-6:00pm, Victoria Stadium, Pitch 1
  • 4 Inter School Festivals (dates TBC) coaching sessions and Friendly Sundays in between Festival days.
  • Fee: £50 for the term               

Year 3 only

  • Sessions every Tuesday and Thursday, from 5:00-6:00pm, Victoria Stadium, Pitch 1
  • Inter School League - Matches every weekend on Pitches 2, 3 & 4 (excluding bank holiday weekends and midterms) Kick off times will vary.
  • Fee: £50 for the term

Once you have created your new account, or if you already have a Coacha account for your child then:

  1. Log into Coacha -https://my.coacha.app/login
  2. Go to Dashboard
  3. Select Association Schedule
  4. Book onto the session that you want to register your child for.
