The Gibraltar FA is delighted to announce that, with effect from today, all matters pertaining to the maintenance and administration of the Victoria Stadium - excluding the hockey pitch and the Tercentenary Sports Hall - will now become the sole responsibility of the Gibraltar FA.

Although responsibility transfers to the Gibraltar FA, the Association will continue to work in close co-operation with the GSLA and is grateful to the Authority for the assistance it has always provided and continues to provide.

Furthermore, confirmation has now been received by the Gibraltar FA that our three home matches in this year’s UEFA Nations League will be played at the Victoria Stadium.

Gibraltarian football fans will now be able to enjoy a full programme of international football throughout 2022.

As a reminder, the dates for all five home matches in 2022 are:

  • Gibraltar v Grenada – 23rd March 2022
  • Gibraltar v Faroe Islands – 26th March 2022
  • Gibraltar v North Macedonia – 5th June 2022
  • Gibraltar v Bulgaria – 9th June 2022
  • Gibraltar v Georgia – 26th September 2022

In addition, the Victoria Stadium will also host an international friendly for our Women’s National Team as well as two U21 matches as part of the UEFA U21 Championship qualifiers:

  • Gibraltar v Faroe Islands (Women’s International Friendly) – 20th February 2022
