The Gibraltar FA is pleased to confirm that Gibraltar’s FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Qualifier versus the Netherlands on 30th March 2021 (the “Match”) will be open to a limited number of spectators, in accordance with the UEFA Return of Spectators Protocol.
Her Majesty’s Government of Gibraltar and Public Health Gibraltar have identified the Match a ‘Pilot Event’ which they will use as an exercise to assess future events, in their continued efforts to guide Gibraltar back to normality.
In this regard, HMGoG and Public Health Gibraltar have imposed certain conditions that must be met in order to be eligible to apply for a ticket to the Match. These are as follows :
- Confirmation of receipt of two COVID 19 vaccinations by no later than 22nd March 2021; or
- Confirmation of a COVID-19 positive result on or after the 30th September 2020.
(together, the “Conditions”)
Individuals interested in applying to purchase a ticket will be required to register their interest via our online ticketing system at tickets.gibraltarfa.com.
In order to verify whether the Conditions have been met, the Gibraltar FA will forward all applications to the Gibraltar Health Authority who will conduct the necessary checks.
If the number of successful applications exceeds the permitted number of tickets, the Gibraltar FA automated ticketing system will perform a random draw to select the final list of spectators.
Before completing the purchase of a ticket, all drawn applicants will be requested to take a FAST FLOW COVID test result on Matchday, from the designated testing site that will be set up at the Victoria Stadium.
Only applicants who test negative at the FAST FLOW COVID site will have their tickets activated allowing them to enter the Victoria Stadium for match.
Tickets are priced at £35.00 and are non transferrable.
