The Gibraltar FA's young referees are continuing their development in their latest session led by the Association's Youth Referee Coordinator Raymond Gomez, Referee Recritument Officer Patrick Canepa, and experienced Match Official Johan Ward.  
      

A total of seven youth referees dealt with match scenarios, practiced their signalling and movement around on field of play in specific match scenarios.

They also covered the roles and responsibilities of an Assitant Referee, as some of the youngsters prepare to take the next step in their careees taking charge of older age group categories.

Referee Recruitment Officer Partick Canepa stated:

"We are constantly striving to recruit young referees locally who will become Gibraltarian Match Officials of the future and we are delighted at the fact that the number of youngsters coming forward and wanting to take up refereeing.

These regular training sessions are crucial in their development as we nurture them through the refereeing and match official career pathways to one day hopefully become top domestic referees."
